That is why we always start with a free site survey. We measure the rooms, check which way they face and find with you the spot where the outdoor unit bothers you least, on the façade, on the balcony or on the roof.
For a single room a split unit is enough. For several rooms a multi-split usually makes more sense, with one outdoor unit for the whole home. If you are renovating and there is room in a false ceiling, a ducted system leaves only the grilles in view.

Questions about this service
Do I need a permit to install an air conditioner?
In most cases installation needs no building permit. Condominium rules still apply, and in historic centres or listed buildings so do the rules on façades. At the site survey we tell you where the outdoor unit should go to avoid problems.
How long does installation take?
A split unit is usually installed in a day. A multi-split or ducted system takes longer; the quote states how long and when work can start.
How much capacity does my room need?
It depends on floor area, ceiling height, orientation, insulation and how many people use the room. An oversized unit uses more power and dehumidifies poorly; an undersized one runs flat out all the time. So we calculate it at the site survey instead of using a standard table.
